For Fall 2012, the Akris collection was inspired by expressionist painter Franz Kline. Overall the collection was rich in fabric, texture and color.

To compliment the bold collection, Redken Creative Consultant Guido Paulo created a simple, parted hairstyle.

Create the Look:

• On damp hair, create a clean center part.
• Apply Redken Body Full Volume Amplifier to the roots and blow dry hair straight just at the roots; let the rest of the hair air dry naturally.
• Tuck both sides behind ears.
• Apply Redken powder refresh 01 from mid-lengths to ends and then apply a bit of Redken powder grip 03 at the ends to create some texture.
