The Best Thing I’ve Done With $11.98 (Recently)

So, yesterday between appointments I decided to kill a little time and stop at the Gap.  I hadn’t been to the store in sometime and was a bit curious about what trends and style they had to offer this summer. With no intention on buying anything I happened to stumble across a pair of neon leather flip-flops in an assortment of electric bright colors.  I chose a yellow pair that would coordinate perfectly with a few cobalt blue items in my closet.  Glancing at the price tag, I loved the sandals even more when I saw that they were marked down from $24 to $9.99.  What a steal…off to the register I go!  When I got to the register to check out, the sales girl says, “Your total is $5.99″.  Totally shocked, I did what any self-respecting budget-savvy fashionista would do – I quickly went to pick out another pair in another color. My second color of choice was neon orange.  The grand total came to $11.98. A deal really doesn’t get any better!
